Mo Kerwin
I'm Mo, short for Maureen.
I have bachelor's in Creative Writing (and History) and a master's in Human-Computer Interaction, both from the University of Michigan.
From 2011-2018 I worked as an in-house UX Designer – first designing mHealth applications for older adults at Fraunhofer Portugal (see Dance! Don’t Fall and Mover), then leading UX for web apps in telecommunications security at Nokia (see Telecommunications tool).
I’ve done freelance research projects including an exploratory study into generative art users and a usability evaluation of a music app made by a Berlin health start-up.
I've recently turned my focus back to words, and am providing academic editing for papers in Human-Computer Interaction and ghostwriting blog articles for tech companies.
In my free time I read a lot of fiction, watch a lot of movies, listen to music, and try to see new places. I'm slightly obsessed with detective/spy/crime stories.
